We are committed to bringing you great products at a great value at our The North Face Outlet Stores. The North Face products featured in our Outlet Stores include discontinued, overstocked, seconds, or Outlet exclusive products.
We value your business and want you to know and understand what it means when you see “Suggested Retail Price,” “Like Style” or a past price that is struck through with a line on the price tickets attached to the products in our Outlet Stores.
When we advertise the “Suggested Retail Price,” we are referencing the price at which we reasonably believe the product should sell at our full price retail stores, and the price at which we suggest independent retailers sell the product. It is not the price at which we are offering to sell the product at our outlets. When we advertise a past price, by striking thorough the price, the struck through price you see was the price this product was sold for originally at our full price specialty retail stores. In each case, the lower, new price is the great deal we are offering you.
To come up with our “Like Style” price, we compare our prices to the prices of similar styles from our specialty stores or other retailers. But similar products are not identical and if there are differences between the products, we will adjust the specialty retail price of the item to take into account differences in the features, benefits and materials between the specialty and outlet products. This adjusted price becomes the “Like Style” price. We then work to provide you with a discounted outlet sales price that provides you with the value you have come to know and love from our outlet products.
